Acana Brand Strategy

Boasting a high-quality product but low marks on brand distinctiveness, Acana brought me in to assess the current state of their brand. Following a full audit, I led strategy and stimulus development for a qualitative deep-dive across the US and Canadian markets, informing a holistic refresh of the brand’s positioning, comms and creative expression.

Jumping off from this foundation, I directed a full-scale overhaul of content strategy and execution for the company’s website.

A pack leader in premium dog food, Orijen had aggressive competition nipping at its tail. As a consultant to the Brand and Consumer Insights teams, I led strategy and stimulus development for qualitative research spanning the US and Canadian markets. The result: a distinctive and defensible refreshed positioning to propel the brand forward.

SToK Brand Voice

As a member of the team that originally created the SToK brand way back in 2015, I was thrilled to be invited back to lead a brand tone-of-voice refresh in 2023. Working in close partnership with Danone’s internal Strategy and Creative teams, I developed an updated voice and governance tools to keep SToK true to its roots, yet hyper-relevant for right now.

Silk Brand Voice

A new look for Silk called for a new verbal tone — one that balances a bold leadership legacy with the humble humanity today’s consumers crave. Together with the Design and Brand teams, I helped give voice to a whole new era for an iconic brand.

International Delight

When International Delight coffee creamers got a festive full-brand facelift, they needed a fun-loving voice to match. Working with the Design and Brand teams, I created a fresh verbal tone with wit and wordplay to spare.

Oikos Brand Voice

Stronger makes everything better. That’s true of the powerful nutrition in Oikos — and of the brand’s bold verbal expression, which I developed in partnership with internal Strategy and Marketing teams.

As a partner to the creative wizards at BrandFuel, I’ve supported campaign and creative strategy work for several iconic brands in the Kellogg’s portfolio including Club, Townhouse, RXBar and CheezIt.

As a partner to the outstanding team at BrandFuel, I provide copywriting and naming support for a wide range of products representing every aisle of America’s largest conventional grocery retail chain.
